This is the best coffee in Athens, and they are the most consistent coffee shop in town. It doesn’t matter who is working, the latte is perfect every single time. It’s really hard to find coffee shops like this. Nick & Reid have an amazing thing going here, and I hope to see them flourish so more people can enjoy a perfect latte. Cheers to yall!!

Definitely a 4.5. The prices are on par or a bit higher than other places in Athens. Its a cute cafe. Its just a walk-up service window and a patio for sitting with other shops around it. The area is out of the way and difficult to find, and a lot of the other shops are empty so it feels a little strange. HOWEVER, the coffee was fantastic I had a cold brew latte, and it was very flavorful and had many deep notes. My partner has the shaken espresso, and it was also incredible. There were a few loose dregs in his coffee at the bottom though. Overall the coffee was incredible 9.5/10. Highly highly recommend. Just look forward to missing the turn to find it.

This spot is truly the best. Not only is it the best coffee I’ve ever had it was the best experience and the sweetest staff. Great drip coffee and also fun latte flavors to choose from. They have something for everyone. The best hidden gem in all of Athens- a must try!

Sunroof Coffee is awesome! Located in a new development, these guys are coffee aficionados. Even though it’s mainly takeout, they will serve u an absolutely perfect latte in porcelain for u to enjoy outside in the Sun 😎 The Baristas were exceptionally friendly. It’s a bit of a walk “to the other side of the tracks 🚂” but very well worth a visit! 👌☕️

Writing reviews when I have been once is tough, but I like to share when I go to new places that hit the mark. I have wanted to go here, but was waiting for a down time day. While this is not something I can go to on the way to work, I wish I could. Such a cute local option for cafe drinks. I did not have a food item, but they gave three or so options from Independent Bakery. The Food star is for the cappuccino I had. I enjoyed it. Had great bittersweet notes. I believe everything is in a to go cup because I got one; do I wish I got a cool mug so the paper did not transfer to the flavor? Sure, but this place is small, so having to wash items would be hard. I like coffee usually hot, not iced. I know everyone is trending to cold. Sunroof has lots of iced drink options along with hot. Menu was easy to understand. Cannot wait to try other drinks like hot matcha or maybe even the shaken espresso that is ❄️- I could venture out. Ambiance is super relaxed. There are spots to sit outside. Feels nice under the awning. There are also little shops there that seem to be pretty cool. Nice Mill District Vibe. Dog friendly was a plus.

Sunroof is truly the best coffee shop in Athens!!! Their coffee is so delicious and all their drinks are made with quality and care. Their rotating seasonal menu is always so fun to try their new recipes. Love all the staff and would recommend to anyone!!!

I tried Sunroof Coffee for the first time after seeing it around town a few times and was extremely impressed by the quality and balance of the drink I ordered. I ordered an iced honey latte and as someone who doesn’t like too sweet of drinks, I was hesitant to not get it half sweet. I decided to just try the regular amount of sweetness after talking to the barista and I’m so glad I did! It was balanced and delicious. The latte was also perfectly iced to the best temp and the espresso was obviously of the highest quality. I would go as far to say it might be the best coffee shop I’ve tried in Athens so far! 10 out of 10 👏🏻👏🏻
